SANTA CLARA PERFORMING ARTS FOUNDATION HOLDING SECOND ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
SCPAF to Continue Work Promoting Arts in Santa Clara
SANTA CLARA – While only in its second year of existence, the Santa Clara Performing Arts Foundation has made quite a splash on the arts scene in the South Bay and will continue its work promoting local artists with its fundraiser, “Celebrate Santa Clara Arts 2020” on August 24 at the Hilton Santa Clara (4949 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, 95054).
Last year, with the help of the San Francisco 49ers, SCPAF gained recognition as burgeoning arts group and this year, with the help of Hilton Santa Clara, the foundation plans to showcase some of the best talent in and around Santa Clara.
Featuring performances by Festival Theatre Ensemble, Michael Taylor (opera), Santa Clara Ballet, Mission Chamber Orchestra, Lyric Theatre, sjDANCEco, Opera Bravura, and Shri Krupa Dance Company – plus some surprise guests, this will be an event to remember! In addition to a night of incredible performances, SCPAF will be honoring the incomparable Josefa Reyes of the Santa Clara Ballet for her life-long work and the San Francisco 49ers for their unwavering support. Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews will be the evening’s keynote speaker.
Come see the foundation’s vision for the future and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience at “Celebrate Santa Clara Arts 2020” on Saturday, August 24. A cash bar will be available at 6 p.m., with the show starting promptly at 7. Tickets are only $50 and available at www.santaclaraarts.org.
